Presentata a Novegro l' ultima fatica de La Bancarella Aeronautica (collana diretta da Giorgio Apostolo), di sicuro interesse per tutti i fan dell' aeronautica italiana nel secondo conflitto, e gli appassionati di Bf 109. Si tratta del primo volume della serie " Ali straniere in Italia" dedicato al "Messerschmitt Bf 109 ", 80 pagine, 44 profili a colori di M.Gueli, numerose fotografie in B/N e alcune a colori in gran parte conosciute, ma di sicuro interesse per tutti coloro che si fossero persi il classico volume di D'Amico -Valentini del 1985, ormai esaurito e introvabile. Il lavoro di Gregory Alegi unito ad una minuziosa ricerca fanno di questo libro un volume prezioso ed indispensabile per documentarsi sui 109 in Italia, valido per l'appassionato di storia e per il modellista. Basti pensare alla interessantissima e dettagliatissima tabella che elenca, o come dicono gli autori "tenta di elencare in maniera organica", i Bf 109 della Regia Aeronautica e dell'ANR con addirittura i Werk Nummer corredati con cenni di storia dello specifico esemplare. Dimenticavo: in ogni profilo c'è il numero del disegno in pianta dell'aereo in modo che il modellista può anche avere la possibilità di non impazzirsi nella ricerca del pattern alare, cosa utilissima spesso non considerata. Non manca neanche la pagina di chips di colore alla fine del libro. Il testo è abbastanza completo e copre tutto il periodo di servizio dei Bf109, ma chiaramente la parte da padrone in questo libro la fanno le immagini ed i profili. Le foto vi assicuro sono tante e tutte importanti, anzi si ha la possibilità di "allenarsi" a studiare la foto con il relativo profilo. Ragazzi cosa vi devo dire? Una cosa sola compratelo, sono veramente soldi ben spesi, e poi vogliamo correre il rischio che sparisca anche questo bellissimo volume?
Shown at Novegro the last volume by La Bancarella Aeronautica (series directed by Giorgio Apostolo), for sure of great interest for every aeronautica italiana fan during the WW II, and for every Bf 109 enthusiast. The book is the first volume of the " Ali straniere in Italia" series and its decicated to the " Messerschmitt Bf 109 ", 80 pages, 44 colour profiles by M.Gueli, a lor of B/N images and some colour shoots mostly already view, but they have a great value for each reader that doesn't own the famous volume by D'Amico -Valentini published in 1985, and now out of print and ultra rare. The Gregory Alegi work accompained with a meticulous research make this book a precious and essential source about the 109 in Italy, useful for the history enthusiast and for the modeller. It's really noticeable the interesting table that sorts, or like the authors write "attempt to list comprehensively" , the Bf 109 flown by Regia Aeronautica and ANR with downright the Werk Nummer detailed with historical references about the specific aircraft. Oh well I forgot: in each profile there is the number of the top view draw of the warbird so the modeller can avoid to get nuts searching the correct wing pattern, this thing for me is really useful but often forgotten. You have also the page with the paint chips at the end of the book. The text is complete and cover all the service period of the Bf109, but clearly the best part of the book are the images and the profiles. The photos are a lot and each one is important, so you can "practise" comparing the image related to the corresponding profile. Guys, what I can tell you? Just one thing, buy it! It's really an excellent book to purchase, and we want to risk that also this very beautiful volume vanishs away?
