The Subject One of the latest releases from this company , to suit the Hasegawa release of the F-4 "Wild Weasel" kit No.P 4. |

The Set Cast in the familiar cream resin that we have all become accustomed too, the set comprised 27 parts. Items that are covered are: *Cockpit Tub. * 2 Ejection Seats. *HUD side supports. * 2 Sets of Rudder Pedals. * 2 x Throttles. * Front Main control panel and glare shield. * Front cockpit Left/Right side panels, centre console and instrument box. * Rear cockpit instrument panel, right and left side panels plus 2 small black boxes. * Front and Rear cockpit control sticks. * WISOs side console control stick. All the parts are very cleanly cast with no air bubbles present in any of the parts. Detail, especially on the ejection seats and cockpit tub, is superb. The side panels for the front and |

rear
cockpit sides are handled very well and a nice touch is the additional
'black boxes' supplied for the front and rear cockpits. Note is
made in the instructions on the positioning of the kits nose gearwell,
and the matching of the sets resin tub. Dry fitting of the parts
showed that some sanding and fitting would be required to obtain
a good fit. Suggestion is also made regarding the fitment of the
front main panel /glare shield and the rear cockpit instrument and
auxiliary panel, which can be fitted after the fuselage sides have
been joined. The ejection seats do not come with the ejection pull
handles so these will need to be fashioned from either wire or fine
solder. You may even be able to utilise the kit ejection handles
after a little bit of judicious cutting with the exacto. The main
sight glass from the HUD also needs to be supplied by the modeler.
A small square cut from the kits original packaging would probably
suit. A one page instruction sheet is supplied that indicates construction
steps and location of all the parts.

Conclusion All in all, another great set from this manufacturer which is highly recommended. So many detail sets, so little time.!! This set is an excellent addition to an already wonderful kit. |
