The Set

Mike Grant Decals are all produced on an ALPS printer from artwork which Mike generates himself. They’re printed one sheet at a time, to order. The ALPS system uses heat applied light-proof inks. The decals come with a painting/positioning guide and instructions for use. A complete how to do it guide in contained in each set of decals. What impressed me is the precision of the badge and how decals are sharp and well drawn. The envelope is strong enough to allow a good preservation of the decals that are really resistant to the sunlight. The transparent film is all over the sheet so you have to cut them with precision if you don't want the film around the decal, but it's not a problem because I noticed no silvering problems. I used the Gunze solution to make the decal adhere well to the model, and there was no problem: the resistance was really good. The only thing where to make attention is that they are more
subject to scraping, so I prefer to use a wooden toothpick or a hand brush hard enough.  The price is really honest and the   subject caught my attention so much. The aircraft was flown by the ace George Preddy that was hit and killed near Langerwehe by friendly fire in the Christmas Day 1944. Lt. Col. John C Meyer wrote about Preddy "Core of steel in a largely sentimental soul". Great story and great man boys!!!

Conclusion

These decals are highly recommended, so don't hesitate! Make some room in your decals drawer!!!
