Il libro

Questo è il sesto titolo nella serie Special ed il decimo personale di Maurizio. E' un libro che cura il punto di vista modellisico del kit del RE 2000 della Classic Airframes, gli aspeti tecnici, offre disegni in trittico, 6 profili a colori a tratta la costruzione del modello passo dopo passo. I contenuti sono completati dalla trattazione della storia di questo velivolo che ha servito Italia, Ungheria e Svezia. Se qualcuno ha tra le mani l'ultimo libro di Maurizio, può notare in quest'ultima edizione una ulteriore miglioria della veste grafica, il testo ha il suo "spessore", ma non offusca mai le immagini che finalmente hanno il ruolo di regine in questo tipo di libri. Il libro si avvale di una buona sezione fotografica con belle immagini a colori di dettagli reali (questa sì è una bellissima idea) situate nella sezione dedicata al modellismo, cinque belle istantanee del cockpit e del pannello strumenti, disegni tecnici anche di particolari, una buona quantità e qualità di foto storiche in bianco e nero, un utile sezione con referenze sui colori, lista delle decals e un buon numero di accessori citati. La parte dedicata al modellismo ha le pagine più belle del libro: potete iniziare a costruire il vostro Reggiane seguendo le istruzioni passo dopo passo che Maurizio ha scritto prendendo in considerazione il modello della Classic Aiframes. I bellissimi modelli costruiti da Maurizio valgono il solo prezzo del libro! Lo dissi per il "Picchiatello", per il "Macchi 202" e lo dico adesso per il Reggiane. Un piccolo suggerimento: abbiamo bei profili disegnati da Gian Piero Pino, se la prossima volta i disegni rappresentassero l'aereo visto anche dall'alto (il famoso trittico) questo libro potrebbe essere perfetto con un prezzo già perfetto!!!

The book

This is the sixth title in the Special Series and the
10th in all Maurizio's titles. It is a book concerning
modeling aspect of Classic Airframes RE 2000's kit,
and technical aspect, plus three-view drawings, 6
colour profiles and step-by-step building. A complete
coverage of the history of this plane from Italian,
Hungarian and Sweden side,complete the contents. If someone have under his hands the last book of Maurizio, can recognize in this issue a further better graphic shape, the text is important but never covers the images that finally have the most important place in this type of book. All the book shows good photographic section with beautiful color pictures of real detail of the aircraft (this is a very good idea) posted in the modeling section, five good shots concerning the cockpit and the instrument panel, technical drawings of the aicraft and about some part of the aircraft, good quantity and quality of black and white and historical photos, an useful section with colors reference chart, decals list and a good amount of accessories. The modeling section has the better made pages in the book: you can start the construction of your Reggiane following the step by step instruction that Maurizio wrote building the kit traded by the american Classic Airframes. The wonderful models made by Maurizio they worth the cover price alone! I said it for the "Picchiatello", for the "Macchi 202" and I want to say say it again for the Reggiane. A little suggestion for Maurizio: we have good profile drawings made by Gian Piero Pino, next time drawing a top view of the aircraft (the famous three views drawings) could make this book perfect at a perfect price!!!
